The first thing I did was set up Gmail and chat on my personal cell phone to facilitate communication with the teachers and to be able to control my email from my phone and not depend on the school computer.

And to set up Gmail on my mobile I followed these steps
1 Open the Gmail app If you don’t have the app, you can download it from Google Play or Apple store.
2 Log in with your account if it’s the first time you open the app, it will ask you to log in. Simply type in your Gmail email and password.
3 Set up more accounts (if you want) if you already have an account added and want to add another one, go to Settings (the three vertical dots in the upper right) > Add account > choose “Google” and follow the instructions to log in with your second account.
